GREAT to be out meeting readers in person after more than two years without any contact. Spent all Saturday and Sunday at Toronto’s Word on the Street, at the Mesdames of Mayhem’s table hosted by the fabulous Caro Soles. Met dozens and dozens of readers and sold a bumper crop of books. AND managed to dodge the rain and thunder that had been forecast for Sunday.
The previous Sunday, June 5, spent the day in Crime Writers of Canada’s tent at the Toronto International Festival of Authors. Meeting more readers, chatting with CWC authors and reading on stage from my story in Cold Canadian Crime.
Exhilarating but exhausting after lying low for so long!
